Americans are hurtling toward Election Day – this year, it’s Tuesday, November 3rd – though early voting has begun in many places across the country. In fact, I dropped my ballot off at city hall a week ago – I’m betting you can too!
If you are a registered voter, please, for the love of God, cast your effin’ ballot! Please!
Citizens in this country have precious few obligations, (paying taxes, jury duty, and, yes, voting pretty much covers the list), so how ’bout it – stop whining, sack up and vote! …and pay your damn taxes, and serve on a damn jury, (if called upon to do so). It ain’t that hard!
Sitting this election out simply isn’t an option – the nation is teetering, the idiot brigade, (also known as each and every Republican currently serving), in Washington couldn’t care less about their constituents, and our adversaries are eagerly awaiting our rapid demise. Yikes!
Let’s do the right thing on November 3rd, (or before then, presuming you have the opportunity to cast your ballot early), and send a strong message to Washington by electing Democrats up and down the ballot – every municipal seat, every county seat, every state representative, and, of course, anyone being sent to Washington to represent our interests, (not theirs)!
